ILLUSTRATIONS OF IMAGINATIVE LITERATURE

Truly a vision of the fantastic, The Korshak Collection is an amazing exploration of both illustrative art and the history of the science fiction, fantasy, horror and adventure genres of literature. The imaginative words of authors like Robert E. Howard, L. Ron Hubbard, Robert Heinlein, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Edgar Allan Poe, H.G. Wells, Lewis Carrol and Miguel de Cervantes are brought to life by the bright, bold, and often bizarre images of this exhibit.

Featuring both American and European artists, these works of art come from pulp magazines like Amazing Stories, Weird Tales, Fantastic Adventures, and Wonder Stories and from novels such as Don Quixote, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Tarzan. Together, the collection records over 100 years of imagination in art and literature.
